OMRON Fiber Sensor is a type of workpiece detection or measurement device. It uses the principle of light to detect by measuring the amount of light intensity that strikes the object and reflects back to the sensor. The main components of this type of sensor are 2 parts: Fiber Amplifier, which acts as a part of the light generation and reception, including having the function of controlling the output, and Fiber Unit, which acts as a part of the transmission and reception of light from the amplifier to the workpiece.
